The world your child will inherit is already being shaped by artificial intelligence, digital systems, and an economy that rewards those who can think creatively, communicate clearly, and solve real problems. At Durable Impact Academy, we believe that preparation for this world should not wait until university - it begins in the formative years, during the moments when curiosity is at its most alive.
The Impact Holiday Program for Kids is a five-week, school-holiday learning experience designed for children who are curious, ambitious, and ready to grow. Running Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, the program blends technical skill-building with the development of deeper human capacities - the kind that no automation will replace.
Two sessions are available in 2026. The first begins on June 1; the second on July 6. Each session is capped at 20 participants to ensure every child receives genuine individual attention and engagement.
What Kids Will Learn
Skills for a Future-Ready Generation
Artificial Intelligence
Children are introduced to the fundamental concepts behind artificial intelligence - what it is, how it works, and how it is already shaping the world around them. Through age-appropriate activities and demonstrations, they begin to think not just as users of AI, but as future creators and shapers of it.
Computer Coding
Coding is the language of the modern world. Participants learn foundational programming concepts through interactive, project-based exercises designed to build both technical confidence and logical thinking - presented in a way that is genuinely fun and immediately rewarding.
Idea Pitch & Practice
The ability to communicate an idea clearly and persuasively is one of the most valuable skills a young person can develop. In this module, children learn how to identify a problem, design a solution, and present it confidently - building the foundations of entrepreneurial thinking from an early age.
Computer Science
Beyond coding, participants explore the broader world of computer science: how computers think, how the internet works, how data is stored and processed, and what careers in technology look like - demystifying the digital world and opening doors to fields they may not have yet imagined for themselves.

Basic Critical Thinking Strategies
Children learn to evaluate information, spot assumptions, and reason through challenges - skills that apply as much to everyday life as they do to technology and business.
Problem Identification
Before you can solve a problem, you have to see it clearly. Participants practice the discipline of observing their environment, naming challenges accurately, and separating symptoms from root causes.
Problem-Solving Ability
Through structured challenges and collaborative activities, children build confidence in their own capacity to find solutions - developing the resilience to try, fail, adjust, and try again.
